Our story

We've been there. And we're here to help.

We know what it feels like to struggle with unreliable AV instead of engaging your audience. You've probably tried to make an outdated or overcomplicated system work, and wondered if there was a better way.

We started TRG because we saw too many leaders forced to troubleshoot instead of lead, wrestling with soundboards instead of connecting with their audience.

1984

Where it all began.

In 1984, a group of seasoned television broadcast engineers from the Christian Television Network came together to establish the Technical Resource Group (TRG). Born out of a passion for delivering unparalleled audiovisual solutions for houses of worship, TRG has evolved over the last 40 years to become a leader in the industry.

1999

TechXplosion Conferences

As part of our commitment to continuous learning and industry excellence, TRG hosted events such as the annual TechXplosion conference. This flagship event features educational seminars, interactive exhibits with manufacturers' representatives, and valuable networking opportunities for professionals across different sectors. The TechXplosion conferences later laid the foundation for the Worship Facilities Expo (WFX).

2009

Nationwide Services

To uphold its commitment to superior services, TRG broadened its presence, inaugurating an office in Jacksonville, Florida, and later Raleigh, North Carolina.

2018

Continued Growth

In 2018, TRG joined forces with Nextronix Group, creating a powerful collaboration that ensures complete production and integration solutions. This decision strengthens our ability to meet the growing demands of our clientele on a national level, and enables TRG to venture into light manufacturing and swift product prototyping, so we can develop tailor-made solutions for our customers.
