Calvary Church

Thirty years on one campus

Calvary Church in Clearwater traces its roots to a log cabin congregation founded in 1866 and now worships in a large modern sanctuary on a 28-acre campus. TRG has supported the church for about 30 years, from the original sanctuary sound design to worship stage monitoring, satellite campuses, and school expansions.

Working with Meyer Sound and Thrasher Design Group, we built a sanctuary system of ceiling-hung loudspeaker clusters arranged in three rings, delivering direct sound to nearly every seat. On stage, personal monitoring replaced instrument amplifiers to keep the platform quiet and the mix clean, through years of Christmas and Easter productions and the church’s 150th anniversary.
